Are you staying in Cornwall this Easter? There are many things going on throughout the county over the Easter period so we have summarised a few of our favourites to make things simpler for you!

Something for the Little Ones

The Lost Gardens of Heligan

Discover the beauty of Cornish Spring at The Lost Gardens of Heligan. From March 29th-1st April there will be lots of Easter activities: egg hunts, Easter egg decorating and chocolate treats all round!

Newquay Zoo

Over Easter weekend Newquay Zoo will be hosting a range of activities for children – egg hunts, duck racing, face paints and art and crafts throughout the venue. The admission price includes free entry for 7 days so make the most of your visit and discover all the wonderful species being taken care of at the zoo.

Our must visit Places

Eden Project

Join the Eden Project this Easter for their Chocolate Festival.. make your own chocolate bars, learn about the history of chocolate, and make your way through the trail to meet the historical characters. The Eden Project is a fantastic venue all year round, and we think it is a ‘must visit’ during your visit to Cornwall.

St Micheal’s Mount

Another of our favourite spots – the stunning St. Micheal’s mount. Join them this Easter for their spectacular Cadbury Egg Hunt.

Something for our furry friends

We have many dog friendly properties here at Country View Cottages, the perfect base for you and your pooch for an Easter break!

The Boathouse

The boathouse in Falmouth is perfect for a bite to eat where the dogs are made just as welcome as the owners. They host a range of evenings with live music being the focal point. Taste a truly Cornish ale whilst your furry friend makes himself at home, enjoy the stunning views from the heated terrace and relax like everyone on holiday should!
