Cornish Cream Tea Heaven

Treating yourself to
an afternoon delight whist in Cornwall is a must! Winter or Summer, a Cornish
Cream Tea will always get those happy hormones lively. Being tucked up next to
a roaring fire watching the rain crash against the waves, or bare feet in the
sand soaking up the sunshine whilst the kiddies splash their little toes into
the sea. A nice warm scone, a dollop of Cornish made strawberry jam, and a
smothering of Cornish clotted cream, well.. its guaranteed to top off any experience!

Our three favourite
spots on the Cornish Coast..

Lakeside in Newquay

image

Set on the edge of the stunning boating lake
in Newquay, you can enjoy a stroll across the Gannel estuary before admiring
the beautiful flower gardens at the Lakeside. Enjoy a freshly made warm cream
tea in the lovely little family run restaurant.

Trevaskis Farm in Hayle

Set within28 acres of
the beautiful countryside, the restaurant has been producing locally sourced
meals for over 30 years. Enjoy a healthy portion of the oh so very tempting
cream tea… that’s if you don’t get tempted by the huge desert portions
freshly prepared and on show in the counter each day.

Trebah Gardens in Mawnan Smith

With a selection of
cafes within Trebah gardens all offering locally sourced produce, there is
something for everyone here. The award winning cafe set within the gardens is a
favourite of ours here at Country
View Cottages.
The boathouse is located on the beach, there is no where
better to relax than after a stroll through the gardens.
