Watergate Bay

A Large expanse of fine golden sand at the foot of steep cliffs, guarantees it is never overcrowded. At low tide the beach is two and a half miles long and it is possible to walk all of the way to Newquay. There are also plenty of rock pools for the children to play in as well as designated safe swimming areas in the sea.

A popular beach with kite surfing, windsurfing and once a year hosts a spectacular beach polo tournament.

There is a variety of good places to eat like The Venus Cafe that specialises in producing good quality local produce and Jamie Oliver’s inspired restaurant Fifteen.
