St Michaels Mount

St Michael’s Mount used to be a thriving port for the tin industry. It’s spectacular to look at with a castle perched on a small island. It’s now part of the National Trust and to visit you can either cross over by foot at low tide. At high tide you will need to take a boat which will take you right to the spot where trading ships once moored. You can see the remains of an 18th Century village as well as the castle steeped in history. For more information please visit the website below
