Tintagel Castle is situated on the windswept breathtaking North Cornwall coast and is well worth a visit. Rumour has it it’s the birthplace of King Arthur who was protected from the evil magician Merlin by his magic sword Excalibur. The village of Tintagel has lots of quaint art and craft shops and it makes for a pleasant day out.
